PRETTY DOLLCORPSE

WHITE CHAMBER TALK is the instrumental opener and tone-setter of the album. The track — and the album — begins soundtracked by the faint ambience of children playing, and gradually builds up its ominous soundscape into a rhythmic cadence akin to that of a military march, or perhaps the roots rock of outlaw country. Heavy breathing and footsteps close out the track; someone has likely escaped? Or is running from something, running to somewhere? The WHITE CHAMBER can be interpreted as the sterile environment of an interrogation room, a hospital room, or a morgue — where the titular "dollcorpse" comes back to life, presumably — and the dollcorpse has much "talk" to unleash of the horrors it escaped, and a mission it wants accomplished, as suggested by the military/outlaw sonic palette of the track.

The title is also a possible allusion to the 2005 sci-fi horror point-and-click game the white chamber, where the player controls a girl who awakens in a coffin in a darkened room of a nightmarish space station with no memory of how she got there. The themes and aesthetics of the game are in line with those of Pretty Dollcorpse.
